Kubák, David ; Oláh, Vladan (advisor) ; Michalička, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Reliability of a load-carrying test by military personnel. Objectives: This study aims to determine the reliability of carrying a load of 15kg test designed for occupational testing of military personnel of the Czech Army. Methods: This theoretical-empirical work tested a deliberate set of students from the Military Branch at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. The research population consisted of 17 probands with an average age of 22.1 years, an average height of 179.4 cm and an average weight of 78.9 kg. It uses the reliability test-retest method. The probands underwent 8 timed trials, then recorded in Microsoft Excel. The recorded results in Microsoft Excel were converted to txt format and then descriptively and statistically analyzed in Jasp (0.17.1.0). An intraclass correlation coefficient of the ICC type of 3.1 was used to statistically assess the consistency of performance, accompanied by 95% confidence intervals [LL, UL]. Results: Performance across test trials showed a moderate level of consistency with ICC (3,1) = 0,725, [0,567, 0,866]. ICC values ≥ 0.5 were considered sufficiently consistent. Keywords: Stress test, occupational testing, reliability, load carriage, military, test-retest
Inter-rater Reliability of the Box and Block Test in People after Stroke
Markovcová, Lucie ; Rybářová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Mezian, Kamal (referee)
The name of the thesis: Interrater Reliability of the Box and Block Test in People after Stroke Introduction: Czech extended version of the Box and Block Test (BBT) manual has been developed recently, thus the reliability needed to be reestablished. The BBT is often used in occupational therapy. Aim: The main aim is to determine the interrater reliability of BBT administered according to this manual in people after stroke. A secondary objective is to determine the variability of BBT results measured by the same rater. The research question is to determine the percentage agreement between the two raters. Methodology: 20 people after stroke were tested using the BBT. A video was made of the attendance testing. This was independently scored by two raters, A and B, whose scores were correlated to determine interrater reliability. The percentage agreement of these values was also determined. Values measured by the same rater from the attendance testing and from the video were correlated to determine the variability of the results. Spearman's correlation coefficient (rs) was used for correlation. Results: The interrater reliability values of three BBT trials of dominant and nondominant upper extremity ranged from rs = .987 - .999 confirming a very high correlation. Exact agreement or agreement with a...

Ćmielová, Daniela ; Rybářová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kotková, Karla (referee)
Title: Inter-rater Reliability of the Purdue Pegboard Test in Adults after a Stroke Abstract: The Purdue Pegboard Test (PPT) is a standardized tool which evaluates fine motor skills, finger and hand dexterity. This test is used to assess and evaluate not only neurological patients. The official Czech translation of the manual has not been available in the Czech Republic yet. To unify the administration of PPT, a new Czech extended version of the manual for PPT: Model 32020A was created. It includes new evaluation rules, unification of scoring and interpretation of tested individuals' performance and also provides exact instructions for administration of recommended three trials of each subtest. The main aim of this study was to determine inter-rater reliability of the PPT administered according to new Czech extended manual version. Therefore, 31 Czech-speaking adult patients after a stroke were tested by PPT at the Rehabilitation Center Kladruby. The evaluation of these patients, based on the analysis of the video documentation obtained from their testing, was performed by two independent occupational therapists. Data from the results of both evaluators were analyzed using Spearman's correlation coefficient. The correlation coefficient ranged from 0,967 to 1,000 for all subtests which is considered...

Title: Reliability of a graded test on a climbing ergometer until local exhaustion Aim: The aim of this work was to determine the reliability of the test to local exhaustion on a motorized rotary ergometer for sport climbers. Methods: 19 male climbers aged 24.7 ± 5.8 years, with a body weight of 74 ± 7.5 kg and a height of 178 ± 7.1 cm took part in a graded test and retest on a Climbstation rotary ergometer for two weeks. Reliability was assessed by repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: Statistical results showed high consistency of measurements (ICC = 0.90). Statistical significance reached P = 0.054. The detected mean measurement error was evaluated at 20.5 s and the coefficient of variation reached 6%. Conclusion: The measured reliability indicates a high reliability of the test. Based on these values, the test can be reliably applied when testing climbers in sport climbing. Key words: reliability, climbing ergometer, graded test, sport climbing

EVALUATION OF PARAGLIDING THEORY TEST ITEMS FOR PILOT LICENSE APPLICANTS Objectives: The aim of this work is to evaluate and optimize a set of paragliding the theoretical items appropriate for testing pilot license applicants of LAA ČR. Methods: This aim is realized by means of the theory of testing. Basic methods of testing form the background research of this work. The items were de- signed as multiple-choice, to select one correct answer. These items were assigned to the applicants for pilot licenses and were evaluated by the apparatus of testing. Microsoft Excel 2003 was used for collecting data and results evaluation. The computation according to the formulas in the theoretical part was performed in Matlab 2007b. Based on this analysis, the results were presented and optimization of these items was proposed. Results: Three hypotheses were examined in this work. The first dealt with a rela- tion between evaluated difficulty of test items and their points value, which was assigned by the LAA ČR. The second hypothesis concerned the number of used distractors. The third hypothesis was focused on the sensitivity of the items. The evaluated difficulty of test items matched items point value in 26 % of the number of items. 92 % of the alterna- tives were used and sufficient sensitivity had 78 % of...

Reliability of evaluation in selected technical subjects
Konvičková, Hana ; Tvrzová, Ivana (advisor) ; Kasíková, Hana (referee)
v anglickém jazyce Annotation In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I deal with the definitions of school evaluation, conception of the current evaluation, types of evaluation, characteristics of evaluation, specifications of the secondary technical school evaluation, as well as the assessment in specialised subjects and reliability of the assessment as the condition of the objective evaluation. The empirical part deals with the level of reliability in the assessment of a set task in the subject - Commercial - Law Correspondence. The written and oral communication and written and electronic communication. The teachers of this subject, at three secondary technical schools in Prague 1, 4 and 9, were asked to give students a specific task and assess it according set criteria. One of the assessors was the teacher of the subject and I was the second one. The reliability was defined as the identity rate of the independent assessment of the same school tasks carried out by two assessors. In the summary I reflect the contribution and drawbacks of the research and the task assessment done by the other teachers and my own assessment. I try to suggest the steps for following the basic rules of criteria in business letters.

Chylíková, Johana ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Kreidl, Martin (referee) ; Buriánek, Jiří (referee)
Analytical methods for measurement error estimation in survey data This dissertation aims at the domain of measurement error in social science survey data. To conceptualize and estimate measurement errors it employs the analytical and theoretical framework that stems from the analytical method of structural equation modeling (SEM) and Classical Test Theory (CTT), extended with the component of the systematic measurement error. This thesis has two goals that may contribute to development and extension of Czech social science methodology. The first goal is to illustrate methods of measurement error estimation, which has not been used for analysis of Czech data yet, and to point out to some problematical aspects of these methods. The second goal is to employ presented methods to obtain new findings regarding the quality of data from Czech surveys. The dissertation presents three empirical studies, each of which uses one of the methods defined within the presented theoretical and analytical framework. First study presents an analysis of reliability of measurement with the Quasi Simplex Model (QSM). It illustrates how to use the model and brings optimistic results regarding the reliability of the Czech EU SILC panel data. In the second study the confirmatory factor analysis model, operationally called...
